One of my favorite architects in the world is Friedensreich Hundertwasser, known for his colorful and whimsical designs, including the spa and wellness resort Rogner Bad Blumau. Since it was just a short detour from Graz and the trail we hiked this morning, I couldn’t pass up the chance to see it in person.
We spent some time exploring the resort, marveling at the unique buildings with their flowing lines, irregular shapes, and vibrant colors. Strolling through the resort felt like stepping into a living work of art, with new surprises at every turn—whether it was a mosaic-tiled floor, a whimsical fountain, or a rooftop garden.
