We arrived in Punta Arenas on Day 10 (3/14/22) but were not able to go ashore because the wave was very strong and too dangerous for the tender ride. So the port of call was cancelled.
After leaving Punta Arenas, we cruised through Beagle Channel’s Glacier Alley which is home to five tidewater glaciers from Darwin Ice Field. These glaciers were named after European countries, including, Italy, France, Germany, Holland, and Spain.
We continued the cruising on day 11 (3/15/22) and spent some time admiring Amalia Glacier
We were hit by strong winds and big waves late night, which allowed me to expect seasickness a second time 😂.
