The day started with blue sky and beautiful clouds.

But soon dark clouds gathered.

And then it started pouring.

Fortunately, the rain let up by the time I arrived at Serpent d’ocean.
Serpent d’océan is a sculpture of the skeleton of a huge imaginary sea serpent created by Chinese contemporary artist Huang Yong Ping.

The skeleton spreads out over the share area, with the head located at the high tide limit and the tail at the low tide limit.

Looks like the tide was pretty high when I was there.

This is truly a remarkable piece and I’m glad I made the visit.
