I took a train to Birmingham. This was outside the train station.
From the train station I walked to Gas Street Basin. It’s a historical canal basin and a popular tourist spot.
After Gas Street Basin, I headed to Selfridges and enjoyed the beautiful architecture I saw along the way.
Selfridges is a chain of high-end department stores and was founded by an American who moved to London in the early 1900s. It was named the Best Department Store in the World back in 2018. I loved its Art Deco building.
Lastly, I spent a few moments admiring the roof at New Street Station before taking the train back.
